App Store Fix

Fix "Unable to Download"

Stuck on a spinning wheel or getting an error message? Here are 5 quick ways to fix app download issues.

Whether you are on iOS or Android, the "Unable to Download" error is usually related to account settings, storage, or network glitches. Follow these steps to resolve it.

1

Check Your Internet Connection

App Store downloads often pause if the Wi-Fi signal is weak. Try switching to Cellular Data to see if the download starts.

Tip: Turn Airplane Mode ON for 5 seconds and then OFF to refresh your IP address.
2

Sign Out and Sign Back into App Store

Authentication tokens can expire, leading to download errors. Re-signing into your Apple ID or Google Account often clears the block.

3

Verify Available Storage

Apps need double their actual size to install correctly. If you have less than 2GB of space, the download will likely fail.

4

Set Date & Time to "Automatic"

App Store security certificates rely on accurate time. If your manual clock is off by even a minute, the connection will be rejected.

5

Restart Your Device

A simple restart clears the App Store's temporary cache and restarts the background download manager service.
